OVERVIEW

The key accountability of the SSP Planner is forecasting and balancing Never Out of Stock (SSP) inventory across TM and TW. Working in close collaboration with the Sales Analyst, Merchandising, Sales and Production teams, this role continually assesses SSP stock and demand based on sales figures and market needs to ensure optimum level of inventory and maximize product supply whilst avoiding excess generation.

The SSP planner is responsible for regularly reviewing the styles/options offered in the SSP program, and in collaboration with the Sales Analyst, Sales and Product teams suggesting which styles/options should be removed and which should be added to the SSP program.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Priorities:

• Compiling data from Sales, Merchandising and Production to accurately plan SSP needs.
• Forecasting and Demand Planning.
• Partnering with the Production team to plan SSP supply and track delivery.
• Monitoring stock levels and sales data of SSP product to advise the business on items to out-phase based on declining sales.
• Partnering with the Sales Analyst and Product Teams, identifying future SSP product based on high performing items from collections.
• Reconciling current and future SSP stock levels to the monthly financial plan for OTB; highlight in good time any issues that could impact business health.

Demand Planning

• Compile and analyse data from the Sales, Merchandising and Production teams to accurately forecast quantities. Evaluating sales performance to balance and manage inventory levels including the in-phasing and out-phasing of products based on selling data.
• Forward planning to ensure there are sufficient SSP stock levels, reconciling to the monthly financial targets for OTB. Highlighting issues in good time to allow for actions to put into place to protect business health.

Product Supply and Replenishment

• Collaborate with the Product team to ensure fabric and capacity are secured to maintain optimum inventory levels to satisfy sales needs and achieve financial targets.
• Ensure planning tools are accurate and reflective of stock levels allowing the business to plan for change / identify potential issues.
• Forward planning to minimize obsolete/excess stock to guide on products to out-phase. Lead the alignment between Sales, Merchandising and Product to plan and execute the out-phasing of such products.
• Collaborate with the sales analyst to identify products to in-phase.
• Clear and accurate data management in all areas linked to SSP planning.
• Planning and raising all SSP POs and following up on the orders until delivery to DC.

Cooperation and communication

• Initiate and maintain a good relationship with colleagues at Tiger of Sweden as well as stakeholders outside the company.
• Hold regular meetings with colleagues and external partners/suppliers to ensure clear and efficient development and communication.
• Represent and present the areas of responsibility in internal meetings and communicate relevant information to stakeholders (e.g., ordering timeframes, inventory levels).
• Be responsible for training and instruction of further colleagues if needed.
• Support as the BPO for PO raising.

Operations planning improvements

• Identify and implement improvements in the current business processes, systems and procedures within the supply chain.
• Liaise with internal/external stakeholders to ensure all supply chain opportunities are maximised for the SSP product.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

• Solid experience working within a similar position within the fashion industry,
• Experience in inventory and demand planning.
• Excellent knowledge of the supply chain within the fashion industry.
• Ability to analyse and create detailed demand and supply reports. Experience and understanding of BI reporting a plus
• Excellent communication skills, written and spoken a must.
